The D.C. defense forced three turnovers in the 4th quarter and Greg Corky caught his second touchdown of the night in the final minute to top NYC 27-23, tying Baltimore atop the Coastal Division standings. The Sailors fell to 1-4.

Trailing 17-7, a 53-yard field goal and an interception return for a touchdown by D.J. Majesty helped Houston find it's rhythm in a 30-27 edging of Tallahassee. Houston improved to 4-1, tied with Louisville for first place in the Teal Conference.

It took a while for Santa Fe's offense to get going, but rookie quarterback Matt Willson found his spark in the second half to help Santa Fe to a 31-20 triumph. The Gorillas have won two of their last three.
