SAN ANTONIO - It was a wild fee agency period, and while a few guys still have deicisons to make and still are undecided on where they will be playing next season, we wanted to share with SFL fans what the players thought of being courted and why they ultimatly decided to change course or to return and be loyal when presented with multiple offers.

Billy Joe Gatlin: Leaving Minneapolis, joining Honolulu

"Man, $10 million dollars. Like, are you kidding me. I even know I'm not worth $10 million. That's just the kind of person Jaimie Walsh is, though. Like, you pulled two guys in off the streets, she's always taking care of her guys. Jeb signed first, he told me to just do me - I didn't have to come here. This is a talented group. Minneapolis was tremendous and I can't tell you how challenging it was to leave. You know what, I may go back someday. That's a great franchise over there. I won a title, but my numbers were down. With Foster, I had a great season two years ago. This defense can be nasty. Jeb is back, large and in charge - ha. I'm hoping everyone can pull this together, man. Going to be an interesting season. There's a lot of military here. Jeb and I can connect with these people.

Jeb Gatlin: Leaving Minneapolis, joining Honolulu

"Have you ever been to Hawaii? This place is awesome! Seriously though, the Legends organization is really trying to do the right things around here. It was great to win a championship, but I wanted to feel like I was playing a greater role in the grand scheme of things, and Jaimie is able to provide those opportunities for me here. I'll never forget my time in Minneapolis, and I was hoping my brother would come along. Ultimatly though, I just wanted to feel like a bigger part of things."

Freeman Goodspeed: Going from receiver to running back, leaving Cleveland, joining Minneapolis

"This is a wild opportunity, man. When Paterniti first approached me, man I didn't know what to think about his proposal. But you can't deny - that offense last year was sick. I can be a runner, I aint scared. I've got a chance to do something no one else can say they've ever done in this league. The Maulers win on creativity - I couldn't miss being a part of that for a second."

D.J. Greenwood: Leaving Baltimore, joining D.C.

"D.J. in D.C. baby! The Dragons have all the hype around here man, and I love being where the hype is at. I haven't won a playoff game - every time I get there, we get bounced in the first round. I'm tired of that and I think the Dragons can be the next big thing in this league. This city is starved - STARVED - for a championship. We're gonna get it. Dinner is served, and I don't have to pack my bags and leave where I live."

Joe Lynn: Resigned with Baltimore, with knowledge of trade to Santa Fe

"Tim Johnston really looked out for me. He convinced me that being back home was the best thing for me. His unselfishness got me back here. My time in the states was a lot of fun - we did a lot of great things in Baltimore. When I got this opportunity, it's just something that's once in a lifetime. Football is a business and a lot of guys don't get to come back home to do what they love on a national and international stage. Minneapolis and Honolulu really showed mad love - the defending champs! What an honor to be considered by them, they definetly made this decision hard on me. Oh, and the money wasn't too shabby either."

Donald Miller: Leaving Minneapolis, joining San Francisco

"This is my chance. I've been waiting so long for this moment. I know I can be a breakout star. This is where the Championship is going to be this season. These fans really care a lot about this team. I'm going to have so much money here I'm not quite sure what to do with it all. Hart is a good guy, he knows what it's like having a gold receiver. I'm ready. I'm ready for this."

Brock Studwell: Re-signing with New York

"Owner Erik Barkley really sold me on the fact that I can have a greater impact on the new style of their team. We had a couple of guys last year that just didn't work hard enough, and we ran down some guys a little too much too. Everyone gets a little warn down here in Buffalo in the winter. This team has won both previous summer championships - this is the time the Knights shine, and I wasn't leaving for anything."

Isaac Wallace: Leaving Oklahoma City, joining Orlando

"I want to thank owner Michael Irvine for picking me up, and believing that I still had game. But I wanted to come home. If LeBron can do it, I can. Kyle Walsh proveed to me that he really wanted me in The Dome again and at this point in my career I didn't need to be taking chances with a new franchise. Orlando's a winner, they're always turning things around. I can have a good career here. This is truly my second chance."
