GRAND RAPIDS - Kailua jumped out to another big first-half lead and blew out the Rollers, 37-17. Kailua led 27-7 at the half and led 37-7 in the third quarter.
For halfback Park HeeChul, it was a first half he'll never forget. HeeChul ran for 190 yards on 33 carries in the game, one week removed from an 18-yard on 33 carry performance, but almost all of his yards came in the first half, including 73 on his third touchdown of the night. HeeChul set new career highs for touchdowns in a game and yards. He had 4 TD's all of summer's season.
The interception bug hit Rocco Marconi this week, tossing four picks, including three straight in the second quarter. Marconi was the only player to not throw a pick in Week 1 and had not ever thrown 4 prior to Monday.
