DALLAS — Despite a league-record 611 passing yards from Joseph Redfeather, a professional football record 365 yards and 4 TD's from Freeman Goodspeed and 35 points scored in two quarters, the Knights fell flat in the crucial moments and dropped to 0-3 on the season with a 37-35 loss to Dallas. The Knights have lost games by 7, 6 and 2 points this winter.
Redfeather threw four more interceptions and now has 12 in three games. He had 8 all of last season. The two teams exploded late in the second quarter after New York controlled a 7-6 lead with roughly four minutes remaining in the first half. Dallas outscored the Knights 17-14 during that stretch, taking a 23-21 lead into halftime.
The two quarterbacks combined to throw 128 passes. The game lasted nearly three hours. Jake Legacy had 139 yards on 8 receptions but it was the first time in his SFL career that he failed to reach the end zone. Dallas' Ahmad Arrington added two more interceptions to his league-leading total of 4 and Johnny English rushed for his second-straight 100-yard game.
