GRAND RAPIDS - In their last two games, the Dallas scores were able to simply outscore their opponents to gain victories. This week they met their maker.

The Stars surrendered 580 total yards of offense, allowing Rocco Marconi to put up career-high numbers in the Rollers 45-40 edging of Dallas, Monday.Marconi passed for 422 yards and had 5 touchdowns to 0 interceptions, the second straight game for Marconi without a pick. Wide receiver Bobby Vesacaro caught four of those scores, three in the first half. He came into the game without a trip to the end zone.

Dallas produced 631 yards of total offense, just shy of the league record set earlier this season but committed 6 penalties for 105 yards in defeat. Scott King boosted his average yards catch in 2014 with his 263 yards on 7 grabs that went for two scores. King is now second on the receiving leaderboards, behind New York's Freeman Goodspeed.
