NEW YORK CITY - In a bizarre game that ended up having little implications on the playoffs, the New York Knights went out on top, despite missing the playoffs, in a 32-27 victory over the Stars.
The two teams combined for 2 league records: 15 turnovers and 18 penalties. Dallas had 14 of those penalties for 145 yards. The Knights scored 22 points off of 7 Dallas turnovers, while Dallas scored only 13 points on 8 Knight TO's. Dallas scored 20 of their 27 points in the second half, but never led.
Andrew Ball's stock raised in a big way Sunday. He had 6 tackles, 2 assisted, 3 TFL, 3 sacks and an INT. Ahmad Arrington recorded 3 picks to add to his SFL-record total this season (9). Jake Legacy made back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons official after a huge day (13 receptions, 236 yards, 1 TD). Isaac Holt had 3 INT's.
