SAN ANTONIO - In the biggest trade in league history, the New York Knights and San Francisco Bulldogs made headlines Saturday, sending the Summer 2013 MVP Joseph Redfeather and wide receiver Freeman Goodspeed to San Francisco for the No. 1 overall draft pick. The Knights will explore a new quarterback option either through the draft or in free agency.
In other news, the Knights also traded defensive centerpiece Jeb Gatlin to Grand Rapids, reuniting the Gatlin brothers for the first time since they both played in New York in June 2013.
Orlando franchise tagged Cheick Kongo and uped his role to silver level. New York opted in to Jake Legacy's second year and let center Freddie Tubbs test free agency. The Rollers franchise tagged tight end Marcus Campbell and wide receiver Bobby Vesacaro walked.
