SAN FRANCISCO — New York for the second straight week went to overtime on the road, while their new stadium in Buffalo continues to wait for the home opener next Monday. This time, New York didn't disappoint. A strong stiff-arm from the league's current receiver - tight end Brock Studwell - helped New York reach field goal range on the first possession of OT.
New York took advantage of a Joseph Redfeather interception in the fourth quarter with a touchdown to Donald Miller, which turned the tide of the game. Redfeather completed a touchdown to Freeman Goodspeed to put San Francisco even late in regulation, but the Bulldog comeback wasn't enough.
Studwell led all receivers with 141 yards on 7 receptions. James Cooley also crossed the century mark with 117 on 11 grabs. Wes St. Clair was 32/39, for 334 yards. Ahmad Arrington led San Francisco defensively with 9 tackles. New York's Bobby Law had a career high 8 tackles/4 assisted.
