KAILUA — Teams have been giving Baltimore fits in the first half of games this season but when the second half rolls around, the Crabs have become a different team. More second half improvements helped Baltimore take down Kailua 31-20 Sunday afternoon in Hawaii, as Baltimore becomes the first team to start a SFL season 4-0.

Elliot Snider became the first running back to rush for 200 yards in four consecutive games, as he passed Pete Bruschi on the season three rushing yards leaderboard - 207 yards on 33 carries on the day. Overall, Baltimore rushed for 204 yards, passing for 208. Mike Dazzo shook off two first half interceptions, throwing two strikes to Demetrious Outdat in the game. Eddie Gauge had two interceptions to lead the Crabs defense. Gauge now has a league-leading five.

The Wyverns started hot - a 17-7 advantage and a 17-14 halftime lead. Two second half interceptions from Ohno Matsumoto and a struggling running game caused the damage to Kailua's upset hopes, despite converting 14/17 third downs. Sebastian Brock led the defense with 10 tackles and 6 assisted tackles, while Yuya Aiba hauled in 10 catches. Lawrence Kirkland struggled again to get going in the offense - only two grabs on the afternoon.
