BALTIMORE — In a near-record performance, the Crabs defense embarassed San Francisco's offense Sunday night at Wayland Corporate Field, shutting them out in a 20-7 triumph. The Bulldogs only score was on a strip-sack by Randall Watts, recovered by the Bulldogs and returned for a touchdown at the end of the first half.

Baltimore's Henry Hittener - who didn't have an interception in his first four games - had 2 for the Crabs, who held San Francisco to 179 yards of total offense, 9 first downs and 4.5 yards per pass attempt. Joe Lynn had 6 tackles and an INT. Joe Dazzo shook off another early interception to complete 80% of his passes (28/35) for over 300 yards. Nick T. Quick grabbed 11 passes for 189 yards.

The lone bright spot in the game for San Francisco was the run defense, which slammed Snider in the backfield all night, leaving Snider short of 200 yards for the first time in his career - 98 yards on 36 carries. Andrew Ball's first game as a Bulldog was a memorable one - 10 tackles (a career high) an interception and 2 tackles for loss.
