SAN FRANCISCO — For the second straight week, the Bulldogs' defensive line kept the team's season alive with multiple sacks from Randall Watts on the potential game-winning drive for Oklahoma City to win 10-6. The Bulldogs (3-4) are on a bye before traveling to take on winless Dallas.
Randall Watts had 3 sacks in the game and Jordan Gray added 1, giving both 8 sacks on the season - Watts has 8 sacks in 3 games since being picked up as a free agent earlier this year - quite possibly the most important signing in Bulldogs history. San Francisco won the game dispite another sluggish performance by the offense that produced 249 yards against a tough Renegades 'D'. Ahmad Arringtonchipped in 8 tackles for San Francisco.
In two complete games at Bagnaud Memorial, the Renegades have failed to score a touchdown. The team reached the red zone three times but came away with just two field goals. It was Pete Bruschi's first 100+ performance against San Francisco in his career - 121 yards on 26 carries but still has not scored a touchdown against San Francisco. Adam Stackhouse had 13 tackles.
