KAILUA — The Oklahoma City Renegades third playoff trip may have to wait. Kailua showed up and put down the Renegades with force to start Week 10, a 35-3 whipping that kept Kailua alive for the fourth seed in the playoffs.

Down 28-0 on 4th and inches from inside the Kailua 2-yard line, Oklahoma City chose to kick the field goal - burning a timeout in the process - instead of cutting the deficit to three scores heading into the fourth. That unpopular decision, accourding to the reaction from Renegade fans, was responded with a 94-yard kickoff return for Kailua - the first kickoff return by any team this season. It wasn't the first time Kailua's special teams made history against the Renegades - the team still owns the only blocked punt in league history, which came back in the inagural preseason opener.

For the second consecutive week, Ohno Matsumoto threw three touchdowns without throwing an intercetpion. Noel Kreiss had his secons-stright 100-yard performance, strutting his way into the end zone through the air as well on Kailua's first offensive possession. Kailua's defense held running back Pete Bruschi to a season-low 58 yards on 27 carries. Leeteuk Eunhyuk had a career high 10 tackles to go along with 4 sacks. Eunhyuk now leads the league with 11 on the year.

Billy Joe Casper led Oklahoma City's defense with 7 tackles, but got beat badly on Yuya Aiba's 56-yard score that put Kailua up 14-0.
