LEAGUE INTRODUCES REBRANDING

SAN ANTONIO — The Simulation Football League announced Friday, the rebranding of the SFL and the #earnyourstripes campaign. Monday, a new owner will #earnhisstripes when the league announces the relocation of the Grand Rapids Rollers. Two existing teams - Dallas and Kailua - have informed the league office they will be relocating as well, with their new identities to be unveiled at halftime of the SFL Championship Game along with the relocation identity of Grand Rapids.

"This is such an exciting time for our league," said Commissioner Cameron Irvine. "We have a dedicated group of owners that have #earnedtheirstripes over the years. Our new look is cleaner, more colorful and more vibrant as we look towards a bright future."

With the launching of #earnyourstripes, team pages make their return to simulationfl.com with customized team news, team photo galleries, team history and stat leaders, all new for the first time to the SFL's official website. The schedules and stats have also been resorted to reflect the season in which the games and achievements took place. The "Winter 15" tab will feature off-season news following the All-Star Game Monday, Oct. 6.

Desktop background will be available for download in the coming days for each team.

The SFL Network has officially received the official colors of black, red, yellow and purple and the striping patterns, network and team colors will be reflected in all-new graphics moving forward.

The SFL Championship Game is Monday, Sept. 29 between the New York Knights and the San Francisco Bulldogs with pregame starting at 5 p.m. CT and kickoff at 6 p.m. CT. The copy schedule leading up to the game is as follows:

NEWSLETTER SATURDAY - The league newsletter will provide Championship Game facts and figures, and context for the big game. A detailed game breakdown will be on the pregame show, along with starting introductions and the season's top plays.
