BUFFALO - Park HeeChul went from one of the lowest-rated running backs in the league to the most dynamic during his breakout season with New York, and the Knights made sure they wouldn't be battling for his services this off-season. HeeChul will be paid $4.05 million per season over the next three seasons, re-signing with New York officially Sunday.
In other team news, Jake Legacy, the league's all-time leading receiver is slowing down, but it doesn't mean he won't be a big part of the Knights offense again. He re-signed for a 2-season, $2 million deal. Bobby Law also got a pay raise and will now make $1.8 million per season over the next two campaigns.
For the first time in his career, Isaac Holt will be a bronze star entering the season, as we was downgraded via franchise tag.
Linebacker D.J. McCoo, wide receiver Donald Miller and cornerback Isaac Wallace were not re-signed and will enter free agency. New York will have 11.625 million to spend in free agency, second least behind only Orlando.
