HONOLULU - Still searching for their first playoff win as a franchise, Honolulu Legends owner Jaimie Walsh knew some changes had to be made. She also was smart enough to know that Nathaniel Graison wasn't one of them.

Graison was franchise tagged for 1-season, $2 million and will remain a bronze, the anchor of the secondary. Meanwhile quarterback Ohno Matsumoto, wide receiver Yuya Aiba, defensive tackle Leeteuk Eunhyuk and outside linebacker Justin Saunders were all released - a shock to some since Yiba and Eunhyuk made the All-Star Game just a month ago.

Expect the Legends to make a big splash on the defensive side of the ball with new defensive coordinator Logan Foster at the helm. Foster took the Rollers from being the worst defense statistically to the best last season and will be trying to repair a Wyvern defense that is coming off their worst season.

Honolulu is in one of the best spot of any team heading into free agency - $24.45 million to spend on two new gold stars, a silver and a bronze.
