FA TRACKER: A FLIP OF THE SCRIPT, ORLANDO PURSUING OHNO

SAN ANTONIO - After Honolulu attempted to, and looks like they will be successful, at pouching arguably the best quarterback in league history, Kevin Walker, Orlando owner Kyle Walsh is firing back and has offered former Kailua quarterback Ohno Matsumoto, pulling their offer for Walker.

The move comes as a surprise and now Walker could sign as early as tomorrow, depending upon what happens around the league, particularly if San Francisco decides to get in on the action late in the game, after it would appear Joseph Redfeather is nearing a finalized deal with Oklahoma City.

Walsh spoke to the league via phone yesterday and was asked why he decided to change course.

"Walker's the greatest quarterback to ever play in this league, and we can make Matsumoto into that too."

The confidence of Orlando is a bold move, after the team cut strong safety Stanley Parchman two days ago. The only other new piece to Orlando's puzzle - after back-to-back 6-2 seasons with Walker - is rookie defensive end Jasper Lenox.

Meanwhile, the wide receiver race is really heating up. Honolulu and Oklahoma City joined the race for Aiba, but has not been able to pull Cleveland from the top spot as the favorites to sign him. Aiba would be the fourth wide receiver in Cleveland but could be the No. 1 guy in either Honolulu and Oklahoma City. That's definetly a shocking decision and we'll have to wait and see if either trailing team attempts to re-convince Aiba to reconsider.

San Francisco stunned, offering Marcus Campbell a contract, still without a quarterback plan, trailing in the race for Redfeather. Redfeather didn't seem to pleased about that move, as that trelationship appears to be souring. Campbell's a happy man though. After a down year in Grand Rapids and a slew of offensive weapons in FA, it was unclear whether or not Campbell would end up on a roster moving forward.

The drama continued in Cleveland, after Mr. Nickens offerd kicker Jun Kazunari, which would leave the defense with only three pieces. If the Vipers can successfully woo a fourth wide receiver, become the league's top offenses and pin teams back via the kicking game, than Cleveland could become a playoff team. It will all hinge on the offense this year, it would appear.

Minneapolis offered Jeb Gatlin Wednesday, hoping to re-sign him an re-unite the Gatlin brothers.
