SAN ANTONIO - As the number of players available dwindles, team's are becoming a little more desperate to sign players. The frustration for owners might start showing Saturday, after Chris Taylor and D.J. McCoo fielded multiple offers, after previously not having any.
McCoo is a restricted free agent, but Cleveland's offer was higher than New York's. The Knights will have to match in order to retain him. San Francisco and Oklahoma City are still desperate to find a No. 1 receiver, unless the rookie out in OKC can step up and fill that role. The Bulldogs took the initial lead on Taylor, the former Intimidator and Renegade, who played in OKC the last two years.
Two other wide receivers made their decisions official. Donald Miller will become the third receiver in the Minneapolis Mauler offense, signing a 2-year, $3 million deal and Nathan Chambers, who didn't play last season, signed with the Knights to run routes opposite of Jake Legacy - a 2-year, $2.8 million deal.
Honolulu went in a "bigger" direction, signing the hefty Larry Henderson to a 3-year, $6 million deal to make Henderson a gold star. The Legends become the first team in league history to have both gold stars on the defensive side of the ball. Their former gold star defensive tackle Leeteuk Eunhyuk, still has received no offers this off-season, despite being valued as one of the top three defenders from Summer 14.
Baltimore re-signed Eddie Gauge at strong safety - a mega 3-year, $7.5 million deal as the Crabs become the first team to complete their lineup for the Winter 15 campaign.
