SAN ANTONIO - San Francisco and Oklahoma City became the 7th and 8th teams to complete free agency this fall as San Francisco took a chance on tight end Asante Doleman - a 3-year, $3 million deal and Oklahoma City chose to go with a bronze tackle - Keeon Sopoaga - as their final piece to the puzzle. Sopoaga's deal was for $1 million (1 year).

With these transactions, the free agent period closed and 11 players' names did not get called. Quarterback Thomas Ranklins was the odd man out at the quarterback spot, despite his $3.6 million evaluation. David Badha was the biggest non-pickup shock this off-season, after the "crazy train" had a stellar season with Grand Rapids last year. Defensive end Lamar Davis and outside linebacker Justin Saunders were other high-valued veterans who did not see an offer.

Here are the biggest storylines for each team after the free agent period:

Baltimore - Getting the band back together. The Crabs will return nine stars from their undefeated team, adding only cornerback D.J. Greenwood as a different piece to the puzzle.

Cleveland - Secondary help. The Vipers enter Winter 15 as the first team in league history to go without a star in the secondary and will try to defend teams with a vicious front seven.

Honolulu - Walker the great. After strengthening the defense, the Legends are a serious contender for the first time with the acquisition of quarterback Kevin Walker, who leads the SFL all-time quarterback rating at just under 100.

Minneapoilis - Lack of running game. The Maulers decided to not sign a star running back this off-season and braught most of last year's defense back. How good can Rocco Marconi really be?

New York - Eight of the 10 stars from last year's championship team return. The Knights are the favorite until another team proves otherwise.

Orlando - The entire Intimidator team returns from last year's championship run except Walker, replaced by Ohno Matsumoto. The Intimidators success will rely on owner Kyle Walsh's gamble paying off.

San Francisco - A rough road. The Bulldogs had a rough off-season, losing gold srars Cooley and Redfeather on offense, replacing them with an unproven silver Jasper Hart and a bronze tight end-converted-wide receiver Xavier Brunson. The 'Dogs at least should finally have a stable running game with rookie Keanu Tuiasosopo.

Stay tuned for the release of the Winter 15 SFL Regular Season schedule Wednesday, Nov. 26 and more exciting announcements from the world's greatest sim football experience.
