SAN ANTONIO - The Simulation Football League is proud to announce the Winter 15 regular and postseason schedule, to begin in Oklahoma City, OK Saturday, Jan. 24 with a matchup between the Oklahoma City Renegades and Joseph Redfeather's previous team and OKC rival - the San Francisco Bulldogs.

Sunday afternoon of opening week, the league's two new northern cities will battle in Cleveland as the Vipers face the Maulers in Thomas Paterniti's first game as an owner. The final game of opening week will see the New York Knights hang their Championship Game banner in front of the Baltimore Crabs as the two renew their gritty rivalry from last season Monday, Jan. 26.

"We are so pleased to have reached this milestone in our off-season, it's an exciting day," said Commissioner Cameron Irvine. "We believe this schedule will be our most competitive and fan-friendly that we've had and that's something to be thankful for."

In Week 2, the league will navigate around the Super Bowl with an early Sunday, must-watch matchup between the two Casual Adult Gamers (CAG) owners - Baltimore's Tim Johnston and Minneapolis' Paterniti when the Maulers hold their first official home game as a franchise. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m. CT, a special time. In the other matchups of a packed Week 2, Honolulu and Orlando begin their seasons Saturday afternoon as Honolulu's Jaimie Walsh tries to get the first win over her husband, Orlando's Kyle Walsh, in the SFL era with Orlando's old quarterback - and the highest-ranked quarterback in league history - Kevin Walker.

Not to be outdone, San Francisco and New York will clash in Buffalo in a rematch of the SFL Championship Game from this past Summer.

The SFL Playoffs begin Saturday, April 11 and the SFL Championship Game will be played Sunday, April 19 at 6 p.m. The neutral site game has been awarded to Baltimore, the first pro football title to be decided in the state of Maryland. Championship Games in the WAFL-SFL-sim era have previously been played in Honolulu (WAFL), Dallas-Fort Worth (WAFL), Orlando (SFL) and Kailua (SFL).

"The Baltimore Crabs franchise should be rewarded and commended on their outstanding efforts in their inagural season," said Commissioner Cameron Irvine. "Owner Tim Johnston and his marketing efforts are outstanding and I have no doubt that Baltimore will host a Championship Game to remember. The Crabs fans will show up no matter who's in the game, there's no doubt about that."

The league has structured the schedule so that no team must go on the road three straight times, no team has back-to-back bye weeks and has a maximum of one two-byes-in-three-weeks stretch. Most all teams will kick off all games in their desired time slots. For the full schedule, visit http://www.simulationfl.com/#!winter-15/c18eo and visit each team page for team schedules.
