BUFFALO - An exciting first half shootout turned into a second-half rout as New York beat Honolulu 43-21 to conclude the SFL's Winter 15 season. Tight end Brock Studwell recorded 164 yards on nine grabs and a touchdown in the victory.
Park HeeChul and Wes St. Clair were equally as impressive. HeeChul tallied 122 rushing yards and a 119 receiving yards and scored three times on the ground. Wes St. Clair had another three incompletion performance - 37/40 for 442 yards, without throwing an interception. Jake Legacy led the game with 10 receptions. New York scored on nine of their 11 possessions and was +3 in the turnover catagory.
Honolulu trailed just 27-21 at halftime and by just two scores halfway through the fourth quarter before the wheels began to fall off. Kevin Walker threw three interceptions, including one on the first play of the game. Yiba and Kirkland were held to a combined 9 catches for 81 yards and no touchdowns, while tight end Rex Norton recorded 93 yards and two scores, but it all came in the first half. Larry Henderson had two sacks.
