HONOLULU - Noel Kreiss saved his best performance when Honolulu needed to make a statement. The Legends got 197 rushing yards out of the second-year, silver back and beat the #WalshWar rivals Orlando for the first time in a 30-13 triumph in their home opener in front of their new hometown fans.
The Legends played a clean and effecient game offensively, rushing and passing for over 200 yards. Their defense didn't allow an offensive touchdown (Orlando reached the end zone on a kickoff return). Ohno Matsumoto's return to Hawaii wasn't a pretty one - his 31.0 quarterback rating was the 2nd worst of his career. Kevin Walker, on the other hand, kept the stat sheet clean against his former team, throwing two touchdown strikes to Yuya Aiba.
Orlando receivers Lorenzo Allen and Thomas Gunner were held to six receptions for 115 yards by the best cornerback tandum on paper - gold star rookie Jun Fiyero and silver star Koyama Shigaeki.
