HONOLULU - Despite turning the ball over 5 times, the Honolulu Legends used a gritty defensive effort to survive the New York Knights at home, 28-25.

Kevin Walker made mistakes, but he also came through in the big moments, passing for 305 yards and four touchdowns, while Noel Kreiss struggled to produce against the Knights run defense. Koyama Shigaeki was big, especially against Park HeeChul, recording 8 tackles, 3 assisted - he had a sack as well. Rex Norton's 68-yard touchdown helped his 100-yards-on-5-receptions afternoon.

The Knights passive passing game continues to haunt their winter season. St. Clair averaged under 7 yards per pass attempt for the third straight game, completing 38 passes but only for 258 yards. Park HeeChul recorded 21 receptions, but only averaged 4 yards per catch. Meanwhile, the receiving core of Jake Legacy, Nathan Chambers and Brock Studwell, were all held to under 60 yards receiving. New York was just 5-for-19 converting third downs.
