MINNEAPOLIS - For two and a half quarters, there were some nervous fans in Minneapolis. Their undefeated Minneapolis Maulers were on the ropes truly for the first time this season. Then, the Maulers flexed their might. The Maulers, who blew a 17-point lead in the first half, extended the score to 55-38 on James Cooley's touchdown from Rocco Marconi, ultimatly winning 55-45. Orlando led 35-31 midway through the third quarter.

James Cooley was just too tough to stop, receiving 16 balls for 256 yards and 3 touchdowns. Marconi was great in typical fashion: 56/73 for 589 yards and 6 more touchdowns, padding his historical season figures. Orlando stayed in the game thanks to another outstanding effort by Zach Parker (16 carries, 217 yards and 3 TD's) although he carried the ball less than 20 times for the second straight week. Ohno Matsumoto had a bounce back game as well - 28/41 for 357 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception.

Orlando's A.J. LaCoste led all defenders with 12 tackles. Koma Keleka and Steven Lambert had interceptions in the game. Maulers owner is now 12-0 all-time in regular season games as a coach/owner. Orlando fell to 1-3 on the road, and will return home in two weeks for #WalshWar2 against Honolulu. Minenapolis hosts potentially the second-place San Francisco Bulldogs next week, as Bulldog running back David Badha faces his former team.
