SAN FRANCISCO - Well, things have gotten a little more interesting. With San Francisco's 41-20 loss to the Baltimore Crabs Saturday night, a five-way tie for third now hangs in the balance. San Francisco (lost 2 straight), Honolulu (lost 2 straight) are free falling, while New York (won 2 straight), Orlando (won 2 of last 3) and Oklahoma City (won in Week 6) are gaining the momentum as the final month of the regular season approaches.

At Bagnaud Memorial, the Bulldogs couldn't stop Elliott Snider. A force all night, Snider rumbled for 227 yards and 3 touchdowns on 33 carries. Jasper Hart completed six more passes than Baltimore's Mike Dazzo did, but for 111 less yards, as San Francisco's conservative offense got a little too much so. Dazzo was electric, completing 18 of 23 passes for two scores. Baltimore got revenge on San Francisco, who knocked off the Crabs in last year's semifinal in Baltimore.

Joe Dazzo recorded 14 tackles and 5 assisted tackles in the win, his second straight game over 15 total tackles. Bradford Unsicker led the way for the struggling Bulldog defense (11 tackles) which has given up over 40 points in back-to-back losses. Baltimore hosts Oklahoma City Saturday afternoon, while San Francisco has two weeks to right the ship and get ready for Cleveland, who at 1-4, is only one game out of third place. Amazing.
