ORLANDO - Whatever happened last week to the Honolulu Legends in Oklahoma City carried over to their game with the rival Intimidators this week - no question - after Orlando beat down Honolulu 51-14 to improve to 2-3, dropping the Legends to 2-3. Honolulu has lost two straight and scored 0 points in the second half against OKC and in the first half against Orlando.
The Intimidators, meanwhile, have now scored 110 points combined in their two home games (both wins) with their next two games coming inside The Dome. Orlando held Honolulu to 27 rushing yards - a season low - and ran for 163 of their own, 529 yards in total offense. Ohno Matsumoto had the better day against his former team - 29/38, 366 yards, 3 touchdowns and just 1 interception. Kevin Walker couldn't say the same. Walker threw two picks and accounted for just 277 yards on 24/41 passing, most of which came in the fourth quarter once the game was already out of reach. The two franchises swapped quarterbacks in the off-season.
Thomas Gunner had his second straight big game at receiver - 7 receptions, 125 yards, 2 touchdowns. Nathaniel Graison and Koyama Shigaeki had 9 and 7 tackles for the Legend defense, respectively, who had their worst day under Defensive Coordinator Logan Foster. Lambert led Orlando's 'D' with 10 total tackles, 6 solo.
