SAN ANTONIO - The Simulation Football League announced last Saturday at halftime of the Baltimore Crabs and San Francisco Bulldogs Game of the Week contest that Daktronics - an American company based in Brookings, South Dakota that designs, manufactures, sells, and services video displays, scoreboards, digital billboards, dynamic message signs, sound systems and related products - has agreed to support the SFL as our Official Statistics Provider.

Daktronics is graciously providing their intuitive website stat service WebSync to the league under a 1-year deal for the SFL's 5th celebratory season to kickoff this June. The WebSync service, per their website, greatly reduces the effort needed to collect league statistics. Any group of teams using DakStats, such as conferences or state associations, can easily compile league leaders and game-by-game statistics. It takes just seconds to report the stats from DakStats and you can immediately view your stats on a website dedicated to your league. DakStats is also the Official Statistics Provider of the NAIA.

"I couldn't be more thrilled and energized over the future of the SFL," said Commissioner Cameron Irvine. "Owners have no idea the impact this will have on our league operations and what type of product we can truly offer. This partnership takes Simulation Football to a level it's never been before. Daktronics believes in our vision - that's the most humbling thing. They are investing in us, investing in our future. They see big things and so do we."

Under the agreement, the SFL will receive DakStats, which is the offline stat database service, at no cost. If the WebSync deal is not extended, the league still has secured a stat database long-term and will no longer need to use and manually formulate Microsoft Excel attached files to get stats out to owners and fans.

Owners and fans will intsantly be able to compare players and teams and track league stats next season with WebSync. The SFL's WebSync site will be able to be accessed directly through simulationfl.com. The SFL will be working to archieve the previous four seasons into DakStats databases to ensure historical records stay in tact for years to come.

Daktronics will be featured on the league website and on all league broadcasts and will be the first advertiser on the SFL Network to run their commercials.
