SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco defense played their best game of the season, limiting Cleveland to 291 yards of total offense in a 26-8 victory, improving the Bulldogs' record to 3-3, dropping Cleveland to a league-worst 1-6. The Bulldog offense would not be overshadowed, scoring on six of their first seven possessions, accounting for 22 first downs and over 400 yards of offense.
Jasper Hart wsa an effecient 19-for-25 for 236 yards passing. David Badha had a season-high 179 yards rushing and a touchdown, in likely his final game as a Bulldog. Andrew Ball and Mike Sutulovich each had an interception in the game while Cleveland's Cameron Brantley recorded a game-high 14 tackles. The Vipers' Ahmad Arrington had 9 tackles.
The Vipers offense fell to fourth in the league scoring-wise while the defense continues to rack up record highs in points per game allowed, still over 40 points per game. Play-by-play commentator and SFL Commissioner Cameron Irvine apologized to Nickens after the game for claiming that Cleveland owner Ronnie Nickens was not there in support of the Vipers. Nickens was in fact in attendance, but was just unable to communicate with the rest of the league owners, coaches and fans during the game.
